WHY THE GAME FORMAT HELPS
Every answer has a job to do.
Correctly recalling a spelling is how the player acts in the world: an attack lands, a heal succeeds, or a battle moves closer to victory. That tight connection gives the practice an immediate goal.
A missed word is not the end of a run. It is recorded, surfaced in the recap, and weighted to return more often in future play.

GRADE-LEVEL PRACTICE
A word bank that grows with the player.
Parents select a grade for each kid. The game draws mainly from that grade and mixes in a smaller selection of earlier words for review.
1st & 2nd grade
High-frequency words and foundational spelling patterns build confidence through repeated listening and recall.
3rd–5th grade
Longer words and more varied patterns make accuracy, review, and independent practice increasingly important.
6th–8th grade
More advanced vocabulary keeps the challenge appropriate for older players who still benefit from active recall.
RESPONSIVE REVIEW
Not every word needs equal time.
Words the player has not encountered yet enter the rotation normally.
Words with few attempts or lower accuracy receive extra practice.
Improving words remain present while making room for new challenges.
Strong words appear less often, preserving review without crowding the session.
Try a short, repeatable session.
- Choose a small goal, such as clearing two or three rooms.
- Let the player hear and attempt each word independently.
- Review the missed-word recap after the battle.
- Check word progress together once or twice a week.

The built-in lists are ready to use, but the parent word-bank screen also supports adding, editing, deactivating, and bulk-importing words by grade and difficulty tier.
